Club 2 Minutes - May 27, 2013

HOST FAMILY:  The Border City Club are the main Host Club for the Incoming Student, however, we hope to assist them by way of providing a host family, or two, if possible.  If you can help out in this way please give Peter Yeung a call @ 306-898-3888

SCHOLARSHIP:  Thank you to the our Club for the continued support by way  of a  Scholarship in the Kiwanis Music Festival – we have a high caliber of musical talent in and around our City of which we should be extremely proud.

MEETING CHANGE: The Border City Club have moved their Tuesday morning meeting to Harvest to Home.  An invitation was extended to our members to join them some morning for breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and taste some excellent food at this hour!

SERGEANT-AT-ARMS:  Greg Hilderman raised dollars through levity and in conjunction with some Alberta information that has made everyone so much wiser.

ROTARY SCHOOL:   Greg Hilderman is planning to host a Rotary School within the next week – this will be for both the proposer and the prospective Rotarian so please give Greg a call at 780 875 8833 and let him know what date would suit you best.  Members up for school are Kaleb Valdez (sponsor Les Harper); Charlene Rowein (sponsor Jason Whiting)
