The Rural Urban committee needs to know ASAP the answers to these three questions:
1. Are you attending?
2. Will you join us on the bus?
3. Will you be bringing a guest?
4. Can someone look after Stan?
On Monday April 25th, there will be NO noon meeting. Instead we will head to Edgerton Alberta to visit and tour the Ribstone Creek Brewery. The cost will be $20 and the bus will leave from Lloydminster at 5pm and will return around 10pm (if we can get Stan Bugiera to leave). Email Pat with your RSVP pathski@telus.net
Only two weeks left until our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year. Ticket sale numbers have been fluctuating; last we've heard we are now only at roughly 500 tickets sold. Our target is now 650 so we still have a bit to go to sell tickets. We will hear more on Monday.
What can you do? Spread the word by sending an email to your network. If you are on social media, promote the event. Bring it up in conversations during the day with your friends and colleagues.
More people, more talk about Rotary, more funds raised for our projects, and more good we will be able to do.

Above is a quick snapshot of our KIVA account and it is truly quite impressive..
Over the years, our club has deposited $9151.00 US dollars.
We have done 1565 loans to individuals in 67 of 81 countries that KIVA deals with.
We have lent out a total of $39,625.
A few years ago, I set up our account to “autolend” in increments of $25.00, which means that as the loans are paid back and our account gets a balance in it, it is automatically re-lent to the individuals / groups we specify.
